Mr. Olusola S. Ephraim – Oluwanuga, mni is a lawyer of 33 years standing at the Nigerian Bar. He is the Head of Chambers of O.S Ephraim-Oluwanuga & Co (Legal Practitioners, Arbitrators & Notaries Public. Oluwanuga is a Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the highest gold status of the institute. He is a Fellow of the Society of Construction Industry Arbitrators (2018), a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and also a member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Directors. A member of faculty and tutor of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Institute of Directors among others.
Oluwanuga is currently serving as an Independent director of the NPF Pensions Ltd. This is a pension fund administrator handling the contributory pension’s scheme of the Nigerian Police Force. He is a member Association of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (AANI), having been a participant at the Senior executive course 31 at National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos in 2009. Oluwanuga was one of the foundation Honorable Members (Federal Commissioner/ Judge) of the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) between 2002 and 2007 (one term tenure).
He authored a book widely used in the capital market titled “Audit Committee and Corporate Governance in Nigeria Public Quoted Companies”.
He is an investor protection expert having led in the late 2000, minority investors in the South West States of Nigeria. He has served as Chairman and Audit Committee member of some companies in the Oil& Gas, Manufacturing, Banking and Property Sectors of the economy. He has served as in-house resource persons to a number of departments at the Securities and Exchange Commission and Publicly-quoted companies. He has handled, trained and lead discussion on issues of Corporate Governance involving several directors of Large, Small and Medium scale companies. In recognition of his work in corporate governance he was appointed 2008 International Scholar of International Corporate Governance Network ICGN (UK) 2008.
